I've never heard this song before, but I definitely love the lyrics. Sounds like maybe he's depressed, but doesn't want help. He just wants to keep going until he breaks. And he'll be okay with it if it ends that way.

i think its about someone critcized or said something about him and he explained to him whats going on and how you dont understand. its also saying no matter how much he goes through he wont stop untill he breaks. like me. the is on of my 4 favorite song ever.
I think this song is about learning to accept that life doesn't always go the way you think it should, and you don't always get what you deserve. And if you're going through something difficult in your life, most people just want someone to help them, or someone to save them. I think that the person in this song wants the opposite of that, they want to deal with it on their own. Like some people say that they'd rather feel pain than feel nothing, the narrator decided that it's better to deal with their problems on their own, even if they end up breaking. That's just my thoughts, either way it's an extremely well writen song and really makes you think, but then again thats how all of Brent Smith's songs are for me
