this song is basically about the consequences of being a star or popular person "What hurts so much Is knowing we are free"(such as paris hilton... who should be connected to this song and the picture in the booklet.. if that one is not already connected to tarantula)

this could also be about himself... he and the band can be compared to "silver seeking destiny" and they are the "The stars that shine, stars that bleed".. making this band pure awesomeness

I could be completely wrong but I do know that I have heard rumors that Billy Corgan was a Christian and I figured that this had a Christian theme as well as Bring the Light. I thought maybe he was talking about eternal life with this song or something like that. What ever the case I am sure that it is something positive because it is so epic sounding and up tempo.

Oh I forgot I what I meant to say was that this song is about might be looking at the struggles of human life in view of eternity and history and about how we are like stars we burn brightly and struggle through life and living with the difficulty of free will and trying to be the best we can be in a time of great moral corruption.
