I agree with the first poster...its about friendship and how invaluable it is...how your true friends are always there and can get you through everything

This could be either way. It doesn' t matter. I like it but not her really.

I'm not saying she's stuck up or anything just don't like her that's all.

I really like this song's lyrics, especially in the chorus ("Dream me near, keep me in your heart and I'll appear"). I just wish it was a little more upbeat so it could be considered a single because I think it's pretty well written for a Miley song. (though she may not have written it herself.)

I agree with the above interpretation of friendship, but it could also be about a long-distance relationship. She can be assuring her significant other that there's no need to worry or miss her, because she'll come if she's needed and she'll always be "right here" in his heart. Probably sounds really corny or whatever, but oh well. xD

I love this song. It's so sweet. Makes me feel all tingly inside. Anyway, isn't the beginning like the Sims 2's theme song? I thought it reminded me - sort of - of the theme. But whatever. I still love it. I think it's about a girl who's telling a boy/a best friend that she'll be right there. If they need her, she'll be right there with them. Even if she actually ins't there in person, she'll be there in their hearts.

I don't think this song is for just one type of person i.e. close friend. I think it's for anyone, like a good friend, family member, boy/girlfriend, or even an ex-boy/girlfriend. It's basically saying that no matter what, I love you and I'm there for you whenever you need me. I don't care if you call me in the middle of the night, or if you live far away and need me to fly half way across the world to be with you. It doesn't matter.

Despite the innocence and vagueness of the lyrics, it's a great song :)
