Anyways, this song is about a girl who isn't that happy on the inside, especially of all the problems revolving around her. She wants to get away and forget about it. get OVER IT. Whether it's running away, jumping in a car, whatevuhh...at least to forget about it. She wants to be taken away.. um. ugh. It'd be stupid if someone doesn't get it. xDD
Firstly, I completely love this song. Up to this point it is the only excellent Disney Song [Aly and AJ don't count and Hannah Montana just sucks imo].
I think this song is about just getting away from our crazy lives for a second. We are always busy and have tons of issues to deal with. Sometimes it seems like the world is going too fast. In my opinion, Van Der Pol is expressing that every once and awhile we should follow a whim and do something exciting and not care about what is going on elsewhere in our lives. We need to get over our problems and just try to lighten up and slow down.
I forgot all about this song until i saw stuck in the suburbs a few days ago. This used to be my all time favorite disney song and still is. Anneliese is a great singer! I thought she was coming out with her own cd? Anyway, i think its about a girl whose friend see's just what's going on in her life, and she wants her or him to get her away from all the craziness for a little while. I can seriously relate to this song. I can't wait to go away to college. Wish i could go far, far away...
