I believe you could be
What I need to believe
I believe you could be
What I need to believe

I believe you could be
What I need to believe
I believe you could be
What I need to believe

It's the same old song
That I always sing each year
But because it's perennial
Don't make it less real

And I believe that she could be
What I need to believe

I believe you could be (I believe)
What I need to believe
I believe you could be
What I need to believe
(Oh, it just keeps coming 'round again)

I believe you could be
What I need to believe
(It just keeps coming 'round again)
I believe you could be
What I need to believe
(It just keeps coming 'round again)

The conclusion I need
Is easily reached with you
You have given me all
And there's nothing left to do

And I believe that she could be
What I need to believe
I believe
It just keeps coming 'round again

I believe you could be
What I need to believe
(It just keeps coming 'round again)
I believe you could be
What I need to believe
(Said, it just keeps coming 'round again)

I believe you could be
What I need to believe
(It just keeps coming 'round again)
I believe you could be
What I need to believe

No comments? An amazing song, I think the meaning is pretty straight-forward.

I love the throw-back tones to the 80s! They did a very good job of bringing back that feeling of a quintessential 80s pop song, which is a very good thing.

Some people only believe in people. Because the only force to live is love some persons. It's hard to live without loving someone, but when you find it, your happiness and your believing in life is invincible.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
