i asked her if she went off to work in a thirties ball gown
why i should sit here and write lyrics around
and she said, smiling, what to write was easy
write a song about mud, music and me

well ocusdubruki were rockin it late last night
flamenco, hip hop rhythm making us all feel right

the sun beating down on the back of my neck
but today its just been pouring wet
but people here have lost the city from them now
walkin past eachother in the rain, smiling, i think wow
is it one night in this field and we're washed from all the rushing
we're all country folk now
laughing and singing and hugging

write me a song about mud, music and me
write me a song about this glastonbury
write me a song about mud, music and me
write me a song about this glastonbury

then i got to wonder whether
lye by a pond singing kiss her
life brings many blessings when you least expect it
it cuts your strings and you're free for that time to be
kiss her and let her kiss me

goin back to her van and i wanna do rudeys
but shes a lady so i just kiss on her boobies
love, i've seen nudeys, kay, you just sued me
score this own goal in me like wayne rooney

write me a song about mud, music and me
write me a song about this glastonbury
write me a song about mud, music and me
write me a song about this glastonbury

everyone is there to remind you
you are on this earth to find love
and we are all standin beside ya
you are on this earth to find love
all the time i search for ya
all the time just lookin for ya
lets take this chance to remember
you are on this earth to find love
you are on this earth to find love

and round the staff campfire, julia said;
we love festival community cause our own communities are dead
that's why every year more people wanna come
community sprits what we mean when we say i wanna have fun

so what does glastonbury teach me?
that human-beings are starving for sprit and community
we need to start now, to show ourselves how
we can feel this change and let real freedom rain
from the dislocated, violated powders in our pain

write me a song about mud, music and me
write me a song about this glastonbury
write me a song about mud, music and me
write me a song about this glastonbury

cause everyone is there to remind ya
you are on this earth to find love
and we are all standin beside ya
you are on this earth to find love
all this time I look for it in ya
all the time just searchin for ya
lets take this chance to remember
you are on this earth to find love
you are on this earth to find love

everyone is, everyone is, everyone is
this Glastonbury.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
