Remembering Sunday

basically what i hear from this is a man who loved a woman who, from fear of committment, never admitted her love for him. She went missing, explaining the late night calls the man makes to strangers asking "have you seen this girl" and her neighbors' assumptions that she had moved away. While she was murdered from by her captor, her biggest regret ("I've done something so terrible") was never letting this man know how she truly felt, and leaving him alone without the knowledge of her love. The true tragedy, though, is that the man returns home, having given up on his search for the woman, convinced that she had left because she didn't love him the way he loved her. He did not and may never know that she did indeed love him.

P.S. The line "I'm over you now" in the woman's part suggests strongly that ay one point, she did have feelings for him.

This is my favourite song! I believe its about a boy who is so in love with this girl who has a lot of problems. She walks into his life and he ends up falling for her. She then leaves and he isnt in a right place of his own. He starts looking for her everywhere trying to find this girl he loves.

The girl decides she cant go on anymore and she wants to leave. I personally think she jumps off a bridge because not only could the lyrics "....now the rain is just washing you out of my hair" make me think that its raining and shes thinking of him but she knows he is better off without her. Also the lyrics "From so many thousands of feet off the ground," It could be that it seems that high from the bridge.

As well as both these lyrics refering to that. The second could also be refered to as if she has already killed herself and she is in heaven "Keeping an eye on the world, From so many thousands of feet off the ground, I'm over you now I'm at home in the clouds, and towering over your head"

In the end, the boy realises shes gone for good and "goes home" because he knows he has to move on. He seems to be almost trying to convince himself that its best if he goes home since it repeats the lyrics several times.

This song is open to interperatation but is also obviously about a boy and a girl. The general story line the song follows isnt hard to follow; Never the less, the song is touching and has a beautiful meaning behind the lyrics.

I think that when the girl sings "I'm over you now" it isn't as a relationship. I think she literally is above him, like she's in Heaven. Just an opinion.

This is definitely my favorite song by them. It's addicting & never gets old.

My interpretation of this song is that this girl that he loved, she died, but he just can't accept the fact that she did, and is denying the fact that she's dead. He still remembers the day, Sunday, when she "disappeared"

"Forgive me, I'm trying to find my calling I'm calling at night I don't mean to be a bother But have you seen this girl? She's been running through my dreams And it's driving me crazy, it seems I'm gonna ask her to marry me" He's looking for her, but he can't find her because she's, well, dead. But he won't tell himself that she is.

"Even though she doesn't believe in love He's determined to call her bluff Who could deny these butterflies? They're filling his gut" One of my favorite lines in this song.

My favorite part is Juliet's part: "I'm not coming back (Forgive me) I've done something so terrible I'm terrified to speak (I'm not calling, I'm not calling) But you'd expect that from me I'm mixed up, I'll be blunt (You're driving me crazy) Now the rain is just washing you out of my hair And out of my mind Keeping an eye on the world From so many thousands of feet off the ground I'm over you now I'm at home in the clouds, towering over your head" I think this part is about his ex-girlfriend's message to him in heaven, hence "in the clouds/towering over your head." "I'm over you now" is a wordplay/pun I think, because she's over him like she doesn't love him anymore, but she's also over him because shes up in the clouds in heaven.

Oh gosh I just love this song so much.

i think that a man wakes up drunk at 2am unable to sleep because he keeps dreaming of a girl who stole his heart. he goes out for some fresh air and memories start flooding back into his mind and he falls to his knees remembering a Sunday, the girl he fell in love with. i dont think just having breakfast was enough for him. i feel as though, he wanted to get to know her more, but she wouldnt open up.

She pulls on his hand with a devilish grin.

i feel like, she is leading him on, like she will open up to him. and then. "She led him upstairs." i feel like she is staring to open up more but he is dying to know more about her past. i think he calls her all night wanting to know more but she never answers so he starts asking his neighbors if theyve seen her. now the girl didnt believe in love anymore so and he wanted to change that. he asks the neighbors over and over again and they say they know nothing. he continues calling her. i think the neighbors finally find a way to tell him without letting him know Sunday committed suicide. they tell him she moves and it finally hits him. i think he goes home and opens a letter or something she gave him and its a suicide letter, and its her saying she done something terrible (suicide) and i believe when he says he wants to go home, i feel like he wants to go home in the clouds to be with her again.

I think "Oh, I can see now" should be "Oh, I can't see now," but I'm not quite sure because it's difficult to tell in the live versions. But I'm fairly positive it's cant. it makes more sense in the song also.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the lyrics are about a girl having an abortion and leaving the guy she loves over guilt? The breakfast part with reference to eggs seems like that, and that would explain why she left and denies love.

This song most definitely give me chills (: I love All Time Low with a passion.
