Her Violence Lyrics
her violence now binds me
her jealousy
it is her will, I breathe
within her latitude
don't touch the one
this is about the two of us anyway
she'll keep clean everything, but my name
I know she will do what ever she wants to
she should protect me so that I could protect them
but she's chosen to make her life so hard
her jealousy
it is her will, I breathe
within her latitude
this is about the two of us anyway
I know she will do what ever she wants to
she should protect me so that I could protect them
but she's chosen to make her life so hard

This song in my opinion is about a guy and his lover who is pregnant with his child but is not so mentally prepared for being a mother. Maybe they are too young and whatnot. Anyways, they are the possessive and jealous type and can at time become violent. Not the ideal qualities one would seek in, as the mother to their child. In the song: don't touch the one this is about the two of us anyway she should protect me so that I could protect them
Those are the line that point to the possibility that this song could be about a pregnancy of his unstable lover.
It's saying in the song, that he's pleading for her to stop her erratic ways(don't touch the one, meaning her unruly ways could hurt the unborn child), and he can't figure out how to control her, but he must he knows, in order to protect this unborn child (protect them, meaning her and the unborn child), he needs to stop her or she may in her erratic ways hurt herself and the unborn child. Maybe she's even suicidle or maybe she is upset about the pregnancy and may hurt the baby. I know she will do what ever she wants to no matter what he days he can't get through to her. but she's chosen to make her life so hard* Instead of embracing the pregnancy and facing it like an adult, she's chosen only to see the darkside and allow her mental state to drag her life, further into a tailspin.
