Ghosts Over Japan Lyrics
Sometimes we can see the skylines rise above these fields of sinking stones,
Crawling away from the sun again.
Feels like forever since this all began,
And these prayers of mine are lost in this house of sand.
And we float away like the ghosts over Japan.
And they float away like the wind, like the wind.
And will you stay with me, or will you leave me?
We can change this world forever.
Look outside your window and see,
The world as it starts crumbling down again, here we go.
Stay with me, wait with me, we can see down again, here we go.
Stay with me, wait with me, we can see down again, here we go.
Down again and here we go.
Walk away into this dream,
Walk away into this dream,
Walk away into this dream,
It will end with me.
Crawling away from the sun again.
Feels like forever since this all began,
And these prayers of mine are lost in this house of sand.
And we float away like the ghosts over Japan.
And will you stay with me, or will you leave me?
We can change this world forever.
The world as it starts crumbling down again, here we go.
Stay with me, wait with me, we can see down again, here we go.
Stay with me, wait with me, we can see down again, here we go.
Down again and here we go.
Walk away into this dream,
Walk away into this dream,
It will end with me.

I cant believe there are no comments yet for this song. Its just beautiful, utterly stunning.
I want to know what this song is about.. I can't think of anything
This is an amazing song but its hard to understand. Im not going in depth on this
"Sometimes we can see the skylines rise above these fields of sinking stones, Crawling away from the sun again. Feels like forever since this all began,"
I think that the skylines are a love that is slowly leaving the narrator, and its not the first time. Possibly they had been away for eachother and found there love but is losing it once again.
"And these prayers of mine are lost in this house of sand. And we float away like the ghosts over Japan.
And they float away like the wind, like the wind. And will you stay with me, or will you leave me? We can change this world forever."
He prays to keep this love but his prayers seem to just float away as if they are being ignored. He questions her/him if they are leaving. Not sure about the world changing.
"Look outside your window and see, The world as it starts crumbling down again, here we go. Stay with me, wait with me, we can see down again, here we go. Stay with me, wait with me, we can see down again, here we go. Down again and here we go."
His world is crumbling without her. He begs for her to stay. She doesnt and he is feeling the pain he felt before.
so thats as much as i understand but everyone has their own opinion just wanted to state mine
Delenda is a concept album. It's about the world ending. Thus all the songs take place in order of these events.
this is one of the bests songs i've ever heard. It's a shame that FASSW don't make more of this type of song, instead of the intense screaming. I'm not sure about the meaning though. I always thought that the meaning of the first part is that the narrator is hopeful about his situation, as he can see the skylines rise above the fields of sinking stones. He was drowning but then he comes near the surface and can see the skylines rise. But then the rest of the song confuses me a bit. And the title "Ghosts Over Japan" just confuses me more.
does someone knows about other bands or songs from FASSW that looks like this one? I mean in terms of rhytm and voice.
