Josh said in an interview that this was one of the best sex songs he'd ever been associated with and that's why he put it on Era Vulgaris. It's so different. From the feel and sound of it, it almost seems like and new version of an old song. It's sexy though. It gets the point across and I would not hesitate to have sex to it lol. The Guitar solo, as simple as it may sound, is actualy quite inventive but at the same time, very Josh. Check 3:18 - 3:30 that's the shit I'm talking about. Well done QOTSA (as always).

I like the connotation of the words used, such as "untrue" for lie, because you can be untrue in a relationship.

The fact that he wants to make out again and again and isn't there to break it means he is the one still invested in the relationship; he loves this girl, but doesn't know why, or why she doesn't return it. He feels that he has lost her love spontaneously, and is confused, so he just goes with what he knows, until it happens again.
