this song makes me cry every single time my brother passed away in January, so this song means so much to my family and i anyways, as stated above, the song is about a friend of Nick 13's who took his own life. at least he was able to turn the tragedy into something beautiful for others.
There are some errors in this song. I can't figure out what they're saying in the 2nd verse, 3rd line.. but "oval edge" doesn't fit.
Also, "Future comes on loudly" should be "The future called so loudly"
Anyways, this is probably my favorite off the new album. :)

My apologies! Thank you for the correction though, I wasn't sure about the future part. And I had no idea at all where I came up with oval edge... I hope someone can provide correct lyrics there. I'd fix the lyrics if I could, but apparently the edit feature isn't available at the moment. =)
nick 13 said it's about a friend who committed suicide. It's pretty self explanatory
Yeah MetalCircus is right, Nick 13 said it himself that its about his friend since childhood that took his own life last summer.

i love this song sooo much! i saw tiger army last night and Yeah nick 13 said it was about one of his close friends that killed them self.

As some have said, Nick 13 said it was about a friend who killed themselves recently. I went through the same thing about a month ago. So yeah, this song means a lot to me.

The suicide theory does make sense. This is truly one of Tiger Armys finests songs. Absolutely beyond amazing.
Nick 13 is quite a poet.
This song seems to be about a relationship that was cut short. I see it as a guy that was trying to get with a girl but couldn't because he didn't have enough courage. He knows that he has to make a move or time will pull them apart and he will end up missing her. He knows that there might not be another "perfect" moment so he needs to make a move.
