Sometimes we try to fly
We take big steps and we don’t know why
But maybe its time to move slow
And maybe, take a step back to realize the distance that’s before my eyes
As long as its time to come home

And I won’t let you down
Like I let you down,
Anymore
and I think that we’ll start again
sorry lady luck but I’ve proved my time in line
This love is a supernova
In other words it is never over

We can turn it all around you and me
Start it over once again and girl you will see
cause girl you’ve got me dreaming and I don’t think that I can leave
(girl you’ve got me dreaming and I don’t think that I can leave)
And I promise things will come around you will see
This is only temporary, promise not to leave me
you are what I need

and I won’t let you down
Like I let you down,
Anymore
and I think that we’ll start again
sorry lady luck but I’ve proved my time in line
This love is a supernova
In other words, in other words we’ll start again

And we’ll Start again well explain ourselves to all our friends
They all say the same things and we’ve heard ’em all along
And this time we had to sing our own song

When its girls night out in the city
The alcohol was growing deep and you forgot about me
Me and my world
Me and my world

When its girls night out in the city
The alcohol was growing deep and you forgot about me
Me and my world
Me and my world

Start again
I’m sorry lady luck but I proved my time in line
this love is a supernova
In other words, in other words

Start again
I’m sorry lady luck but I proved my time in line
this love is a supernova
In other words, in other words

we’ll Start again well explain ourselves to all our friends
they all say the same things and we’ve heard ’em all along
and this time we had to sing our own song

Same things we’ve heard ‘em all along
And this time we had to sing our own song

I HATE the "when its girls night out in the city" verse. It doesnt work with the song and the entire beat changes at that part. The acoustic version was much better. Besides that this song is about getting back with an ex when your the only one who thinks it will work, she doesnt even think itll work but your trying to show her, and you will prove to your friends it will.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
