When Everything Goes Wrong, Take The Easy Way Out Lyrics
When all is said and done, please just let me out
I will kill myself.
If it means nothing else will keep me from sleeping tonight.
Leave me alone.
LEAVE ME ALONE.
You did enough to ruin me.
My broken soul can't take another day.
I beg for you to leave.
God if You're waiting for me, won't you please open the gates?
OPEN THE GATES!
God if You can hear me, OPEN THE GATES.

Well this song you have to listen to the rest of the Goodbye to the Gallows cd to get. The song is part of a concept album and is the ending to its story. The song is basically saying that everything that has happened to him in his past few months is over and everything has gone so sour that he is asking God to prepare heaven for him. In the end of the song you hear the sound a of a train which kind of suggests he drives hsi car, truck, or whatever onto a set of train tracks to commit suicide.
Again, in order to fully grasp the song. You sdhould listen to the whole album.
This has to be one of the most hardcore songs I have ever listened to. Lyrically, and musically. The last three lines are hardcore as hell. Just started listening to Emmure, not bad stuff. \m/
ekyryliuk, check out the suicide silence then ;)
I agree with Texticular. Except for the part about the train, as you don't hear a crash. I think the train may symbolize something else. Maybe transporting his soul? Perhaps a metaphor for him moving on from all the sadness represented in the rest of the album.
Emmur is amazing. \m/
Or he's lying on train tracks. You can hear the train sounds echo at the very end almost as if it's the last sound heard before blacking out. Anyway, I shouldn't just judge the song from first hearing it, but sheesh, how depressed is he? I've been there, so it's like a transferable like-dislike. While feeling suicidal I would've related well to this. But I'm not right now, and it just seems contrived.
He slit his wrists in his bathroom. Check out "Its not just a party, its a funeral".
I believe that the ending is him with his car on the railroad tracks waiting for the train to hit him.
