This song is incredible. Seems its about reminiscing about someone who was important in their life etc, seems failry basic might be wrong astounded am the first to comment though. GET THIS ALBUM!!
I would guess about his mother, as she died during the making of this album. the whole album has the running theme of death due to her passing away. Touching stuff
Only 2 comments on this??? Come on people!! This song is incredible, I'd imagine its about Simon losing his mother, but the whole song, particularly the chorus, can apply to anyone who's loved and lost. Amazing song from, truly, one of the most talented bands of our generation.
