Delivery (Compulsion cover) Lyrics
Girl had a baby and she gave it to the world
World didn't want to take the baby from the girl
Float on the waterway
Your time never change your life around again
You'll fly far away
Time will never destroy your heart
Time will never destroy your heart
So in the reeds beside the river where she lay
Give it to the river that the world has shoved away
Float on the waterway
Your time, it never changed your life around again
You'll fly far away
Time will never destroy your heart
Time will never destroy your heart
Float on the waterway
Your time never changed your life around again
You'll fly far away
Time will never destroy your heart
Time will never destroy your heart
Time will never destroy your heart
Time will never destroy your heart
World didn't want to take the baby from the girl
Float on the waterway
Your time never change your life around again
You'll fly far away
Time will never destroy your heart
Give it to the river that the world has shoved away
Float on the waterway
Your time, it never changed your life around again
You'll fly far away
Time will never destroy your heart
Your time never changed your life around again
You'll fly far away
Time will never destroy your heart
Time will never destroy your heart
Time will never destroy your heart

Looked all over the place to get this song. Finally found it on a .RAR. This is originally a song by Irish Punk band Compulsion. I think its a song about Moses. I get an image of a mother putting a baby on a little boat, and sending it down a river.
This song was originally written and recorded by the Irish band "Compulsion". Chevelle did the retake on it, which to me, sounds better than the original.
I think it's simple.
I think it's simple.
I find it to be about a girl having a baby and not knowing what to do with it. She's afraid what the world would think of her, so she throws the baby in the river.

Is this song by Chevelle? Never heard of it.

Uness i'm off track...huh...
Ok nvm nvm! I saw it on their CD.
i believe it came on the pre-ordered versus of the vena sera. one of my favorite songs by chevelle.
it is on the best buy version of vena sera as a bonus track along with Sleep Walking Elite and In Debt to the Earth
pretty sweet song but dont exactly know what its about
Ugh...wake up and learn something...read the mythology of Perseus...in this song, such trail and tribulation are compared to that of the current state of brining a child up in the world when the world around is non-accepting (for any said reason)
Note: I also find it sad that Chevelle lists Tool as one of its biggest influences, and consistently I see surface explanations for Chevelle's lyrics...dig a little deeper people.
