But does someone want to help me out with the meaning of this song? I'm assuming it's about a relationship. Perhaps a complicated relationship. But I can't really explain the rest of the song myself. Someone help please?

Um I'm not quite so sure if my explaination even makes sense, but mainly it's caused by a book I just read. I believe it's about how two friends, or two lovers perse, have been in love for the longest time ever, but neither of them said/did anything to confide in the other. So now, after a few years when he comes back, he's apologizing for being so stupid and not realizing his undenying love for her, and not having treated her the best he could, to his fullest extent. But now, she's moved on and found someone else. And he's just baring his heart to her and how he would always be there for her, waiting for her. But of course, this is only my interpretation of the song. You can agree or disagree about it; I really don't care.

to me it feels the two lovers were seperated and one of them is trying to find the other one and they screwed up and he finds her or sum sort and she or he found someone else but he or she is stuck on him

But anyway, i loove this song. Their voices are amazing.
