Fin Song 8 Lyrics

Orange river glides through the saddle of the park
An icy day in March
Cuts the clouds,
they push apart
I'd rather be on fire,
rather be on fire, fire

Staring straight ahead,
meeting the streets
Your inky Skin and your skinny feet
it's about a sidewalk, about a subway, waking to sunsets

It's been all of my wishes
Devised a dream and then lived it
and I remember when I first listened to your records
It's clouded, what we know
We can only hope
And I'm losing just about everything

It's been all of my regrets
to live a lie and end upset
and I remember when peace was a pretty contender
It's clouded what we know
And I'm losing everything
And I'm losing everything
And I'm losing everything...
Orange river glides, orange river glides through the saddle of the park...

It's clouded, what we know We can only hope And I'm losing just about everything

I think this is describing a relationship in which nothing is certain, you really don't know what is going on between the two of you, so youre insecure about the relationship but still so in love or infatuated with the person... you feel like you could be losing everything (the person) but it won't stop you from hoping that everything will work out how you dream it to... all you have to hold onto, the only certain thing is your hope

See, I think this song is about someone who doesn't have anything left, but she's remebering what she had before, and remembering it makes her feel like she's loosing it all over again, and makes her remeber what she wanted and what she regrets.

inspiration. and the relationship between a music artist and their fans. the speaker seems to be talking about how she's been inspired "It's been all of my wishes Devised a dream and then lived it and I remember when I first listened to your records"

she's following the footsteps to her own career in music, but it's an unsure path "it's clouded, what we know, we can only hope"

I think she pretty much says what its about in the song itself; 'its about sidewalks, about a subway, walking to sunsets'

It's about moving on and looking forward in any situation. Looking forward toward the beautiful things to come.

Whenever I lsiten to this song I get sort of sad lol. And i think it's because I think of this song as a sad rememberence of what she once had,

It's been all of my wishes Devised a dream and then lived it and I remember when I first listened to your records It's clouded, what we know We can only hope And I'm losing just about everything

this song makes me feel sad but also kind of tingly. like there's a tiny comfort bubble in the pit of my stomach and when it pops, there's an end and a beginning and scum stuck in the carpet.

I picture a mermaid that lost everything and a man that lost everything and they meet to save the whales and end up happy and find what they lost in eatchother.
