My Impure Hair Lyrics
I've lost my key
I've gone too far
Was it enough to make you sick ?
Maybe I live again, but would I lose again my virginity ?
Oh, my virginity
I'm shaped to get in your way
But in the end
We defend our decadence
You never wept like that
Whatever lost I won't forget about you
Oh, forget about you
It's not what I said, it's what you said
It's what you did did that belongs to everyone
It's not what I hate, it's what you hate
Its decadence belongs to everyone
One day I lie next to you and you stroke my impure hair
I've gone too far
Was it enough to make you sick ?
Maybe I live again, but would I lose again my virginity ?
Oh, my virginity
But in the end
We defend our decadence
You never wept like that
Whatever lost I won't forget about you
Oh, forget about you
It's what you did did that belongs to everyone
It's not what I hate, it's what you hate
Its decadence belongs to everyone

I guess it's about some moron who can't accept his girlfriends is not virgin ("Was it enough to make you sick?")
My fav song of this album.
This song is in a spiritual-like mood, one of my favourites. It's like a mix of hindu theology and cristianism with their main grants. the subject based on loosing "virginity" for me more in the non-district sense of loosing purity, moral clarity and some sensible integrity. "I'm shaped to get in your way" is like our way is supposed to be based on these norms that we worship according to our faith, and most of us is sure they ARE actually using them in their life "but in the end we defend our decadence" subconsciously we reject those norms by putting ourselves into ethically decadent world and accepting this world as our option for living,as it 'suits the times' and is more 'livingable' "It's not what I said, it's what You said, It's what You did that belongs to everyone" for me it's about Christ. As well as those next two lines. "One day I lie next to you and you stroke my impure hair" -...i think I shouldn't be explaining any second longer... You all do it:-)
ps. walkabout- try more to hear, not only to listen.BRH is not Britney ,they have a little softer and deeper thoughts than "get out of my bed get out of my head"-like ... This song can also be interpreted in the terms of relationship,of course. But for me will always be kind of ethical declaration
People always find a way to bring religion into things that are clearly not about religion. Whatever floats your boat, dude.
