I love this song, it rocks. you can go on chevelleinc.com and see what pete says it is about. but still. song rocks. the new cd is AMAZING. the guitar is HEAVY i wish there was a little more screaming. but its still there so i cant complaint to much. :)

It's already been clearly adressed on the official website what this song's about~ But even so, this song is amazing! The new album, although admitidly "more the same", rocks! Heavy dropped guitar riffs galore and Petes amazing voice pound through each track, and it all peaks in this very song IMO. The Fad is deffinatly the high point of the CD~ the climax if you will. Soon as I reached this song and that chorus hit me I had chills~ I was afriad to go any further and had to replay this song at least 15 times. Amazing.
rippin' cool song (like the time signature change from 4/4 to 6/8 during the interlude?) so many of the songs on this album have almost familiar sounding melody lines.
does the chorus for this song sound a lot like the chorus of "march of war" by nonpoint or is it just me?

First, when he says, "... cheap panther piss," he means cheap wine or cheap beer; he's comparing cheap wine/beer to panther piss, but why panther (emphasis on "panther") piss, I have no clue. Secondly, Gucci is a fashion and leather goods label owned by some French company and founded by Guccio Gucci in 1921, and the only reason I know this is because because my sister is a fashionista (or thinks she is anyway) and is always talking about that kind of stuff.
