One Manometer Away From Mutually Assured Relocation Lyrics
Feel, free, fornicate.
It's not Earth's first contra coup,
Or first astral projection experience with mesomorphs.
One can't resist these surges.
One can't resists these carbon copy species, like us.
Power failure pandemonium
Proudly perverts plutonium.
And whoever handles these loose electrons
Could you please modify your geiger counters
To reveal planets morphing.
Blanket retribution completely blocked out by a
Nimbus indicates it's time to stray from the nucleus
"There is just something about cloud-cuckoo land"
Minimaly conscious, hairy quadrupled.
Scientists, save us.
Scientists, SOS.

sounds like either the earth is fucked and we need to find a new place or how we look to technology and science religiously to save us
MAYBE...its about how science is trying to obliterate spiritual perspective? Maybe its about how scientific understanding can enrich our spiritual side? Maybe its about evolution, and that its time for us as a race to develop our conscious beyond that of our current scientific understanding? Maybe its about how science has tried to explain spiritual things from a logical viewpoint and is masking the true meaning? I definately think its about the science vs spirituality conflict. And i definately know it my fave Locust song and these musicians are truely exeptional.
the first time I attentively listened to that song could see them on stage... and i got to agree: really, really good shit.
Oh man, the "power failure pandemonium" part (and on) is fucking amazing. The lyrics, the rhythm, the synth. Agh.
