LYOS makes me think about comparing two people... one is a bad relationship you just got out of where you always felt like you were the only one trying and were getting sh*ted on in the process... the other, new one, is the opposite of that old one...
It almost feels like a letter or a conversation with the old girl with how he keeps saying "She's just like you only ..." better :-P
i agree. but it also feels like he isn't completely over the first relationship. and he has to keep reminding himself that this one IS better for him.
I agree, nicholie, it does seem like he's reminding himself. And i think that perhaps he didn't realize just how bad the first relationship was until he found the new girl, and he can now see just how much better it could be.

personally i agree wiht nicholie. i think it sounds like hes not totally over the first relationship and hes trying to reassure himself that what hes doing is for the best. great song.
i hate to be annoying about the lyrics, but instead of: "just like you with more refine" it should be: "just like you with more inside"
i have the cd, and in the pamphlet it has some lyrics, so i'm sure those are right.
