I believe the Arabic part goes like " Elahi (my god) la en aatayt nafsi soaali (if you would give me what I pray for) .. It is a prayer and not Quran verse.

this is just my first thought on it. but I believe that this song is about someone who was happy, and loving [the first and second lines], who fell into the arms of someone controlling [hence the chains].

with the controlling behavior, and what-not, theyre becoming cold, and angry inside [from the "its burning me up inside" through the rest of the song].

the eyes arent bright and loving anymore. they are filled with dull anger and sorrow.

I absolutly LOVE this song. Its on the What Have You Done cd single, but I wish it was on The Heart Of Everything album.

am sure the song is about Alia Atreides from Frank Herbert dune series ..

I'm not positive of what this song is telling but I see it as a story of a werewolf. He/she is possibly in love with another, trying to persuade the lover to stop loving them or they too will die, as others have before them in their rage as a monster. So..here's a bit of a brief explanation. Blue eyes just smile to the world Full of dreams and with fascination Too soon she saw that her hands were chained and pulled without any freedom A girl (or boy. but by the 'she' I'm pretty positive its' a girl :P) is born into the world but finds out that she's not like everyone else. She's something else. A monster. A werewolf. It's always the same, the fear no way out I cannot break it I cannot take it no more Basically, she's talking about herself and her mutation. She's afraid of it and there's nothing she can do about it, but she can't cant take it. She wants nothing to do with it. It's burning me up inside Lost all my tears, can't cry No reason, no meaning Just hatred No matter how hard I try You fear the beast inside
It's growing, it's waiting Just to hurt you She's describing the mutation. She loses all feeling except for hatred. no matter how hard she tries to fight back the beast grows inside of her. Also, this could be her persuasion to her lover, telling him that he does indeed fear her and he knows that when she does become this beast there is nothing she can do to stop from hurting him. This heart was hurt by the light and I see your world that tries to deny Now everything that I love has died or has been shattered to pieces. Now this one I had a hard time interpreting but I think I got it. She was cursed by God (light) to become this evil monster and the world denies that it is God's doing. It must be something from an evil source, like the Devil. And b/c she's a monster she's either killed everyone she has loved or the fact that she is a werewolf has ruined any relationship she could ever possibly have. Again, this could also be her telling her lover how much of a monster she truly is and warning him. Can't you see their eyes, what lies inside They've given up, they no longer shing Too soon they close one last cry
Before they turn to white I think this is the part where she does kill. She's describing how when she kills they finally give up and they have no life within them. They give out one last cry and finally they die. With the lover bit added, this could be her killing the victim, telling her lover to watch-making him really see that she isn't good. What is inside of her is evil and she doesn't belong with him. he has to get out. The more I think of it..it could be representing a vampire also. either way...

Every time I listen to this song I think of a child being abused at a young age.

The beginning of this song is in Arabic and it's from the Holy Koran. It means "My God, how I gave to him myself" which completely coincides with danaxdrugface's interpretation.
