Georgia

Taylor's wife, Natalie, is from Georgia and that is his nickname for her and Isaac and his wife got married in Georgia. So the band has said that Taylor wrote this song for his wife during her parent's divorce. "I won't say you have to choose." He's just saying he will be there for her always and that he loves her.

Out of the new cd, I think this song is awesome, dissapointed it wasn't the first single, but eh, what cna you do? Anyhew, check out Hanson's new cd, this song is worth it alone but the whole cd rocks

"georgia" is definitely my favorite on the new album, along with "watch over me". mmm love it.

I am in loveee with this song..and been there beofre...i can't wait for the new cd to come out!! and for them to start touring! I think its about the guy just letting the girl know how important she is to him whether they can be together or not and that he'll always be there.

When I first pre-ordered the CD on Hanson.net, this was the first song I listened to and I fell in love with it. My immediate thought was that Taylor wrote it for his wife, Natalie. After all, she is from Georgia and it just seems to fit. It's so sweet and if he really did write it for her, it just goes to show how much they truly care about each other and what an amazing relationship they have. :o) Just one of the amazing songs on "The Walk"

Flawless, flawless song.

I'm pretty sure I read that Natalie's parents got divorced, before she met Taylor. But, that doesn't really matter. Zac and Kate got married in Georgia, but Isaac and Nikki got married in Tulsa. Someone asked Taylor on a walk in the fall, if he wrote this song for his wife. He said he had, albeit begrudgingly. He admitted it. And, he's been heard referring to her as "Georgia" at concerts. Someone told me that they went to a concert, where Natalie was walking around talking to fans. Then, she was talking to Taylor later, he called her "Georgia," and she started laughing. But, this song is definitely about her. It's basically saying that no matter what, he'll always be there for her, and he loves her. I think this song is about the troubles and problems that every relationship goes through, and not giving up. Like you know it's hard and rough at times, but you don't give up. The line "Georgia, I'll be chasing you the rest of my life," I think is a great line. Because, Taylor has always talked about in interviews how he went after Natalie. It's a flawless, beautiful, very sweet song.

i love the story behind it and just love the song. i just love taylors voice and watching him play just how much passion he has i love it!

This song is for Zac. So is the song Go. Georgia is not natalies nickname. Its code that they used between them. Tays marriage (and pregnancy) was still somewhat new and Zac was scared it would ruin what they had. This was Taylor's way of reassuring him it wouldn't and also apologizing for fucking up. ..man...the knowledge learned with time! Reading all these old posts and seeing how laughable they are and knowing the real truth that actually unfolded..i feel like Yoda in this bitch!!! LOL!!!
