First of all, those lyrics are fucked. Anyway, I agree he's a drug dealer and she an addict. He's got "what she wants" in the trunk. He's a mile down the road from her and whatever she's about to consume is going up through her nose (cocaine...) to loosen the "tight knot". Once she's feeling the high she sings "Wooooo..."

Or maybe she's tied up in the trunk and about to get boned. It's good either way.

C'mon no posts! The reverb guitar is out of this world. One of favorites on the album definately.

The opening verse sounds like he's a pusher. He gots the drugs (coke and heroin). And there just cruising down the road. Drugs in the trunk. Whoooooo

he syas "one mile to go" not "one mile of gold"

so peaceful but wierd and creepy at the same time... it's lovely

i simply love this song. my favorite on the new album. so haunting and beautiful.

It has a Hollies's "Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress" feel to it, but much creepier and slowed. Very rocking.

I think the 'Woooooooo' bit refers to the women (she) maybe taking some of this guys drugs and getting spaced out.

I think the line should be "ah her nose". but I agree with the OP. I definitely do think the song is about a drug dealer and addict.

and "Whooooo" is probably the rush she gets from the drugs.

but I don't know what he means by "she knows what I'm not"
