I was watching their dvd and stephen was talking about this song. and its about how he loses who he is. like hwen he's on stage he putson a mask and is all "lalalalalalal woo hoo" and he lost himself and he's trying to find himself again "losing self in myself, inner demons make demands" and "my mask is growing heavey, but I've forgotten who's beneath" oh jeez its really good!

i think this song is the best. well one of. its definitely an aquired taste for me its nothing like i have heard from anberlin. but its good. there was one song on"blueprints for the blackmarket" KINDA like this. like similarites that i can't really explain 1:this whole c.d. his voice, sounds, different kinda. not like DIFFERENT like in sound, but different in intensity and maturity. like he has grown . [yes i know his like 20 something and yea but you should understand what i mean] 2: the line "My mask is growing heavy but I've forgotten who's beneath" is so true about society. i mean. everyone walks around with smiles plastered on their faces even though, they could be dying on the inside. the unwritten rules of society are sloppy.

Almost all of their songs i've heard are alarmingly dark, when you pay attention to the lyrics.

They just play most of their music happy major chords and not dark ominous minor chords which would add the dark fell to the music.

eltroyo11, definitely Reclusion, I bought the CD and unless they labelled it wrong on there, the song is Reclusion, not Alexithymia.
