Truly poetry. Shakespeare could not have written more profoundly. The lyrics are just so heartfelt. His mastery of the language is unparalleled.

this song is definitely Mims' attempt to communicate mathematical principles to the uneducated ghetto community.
Forget Bono - Mims' work for the betterment of society is unparalleled.
Quite possibly the worst song ever written. If you think Mims is one of the frontrunners to bring rap back to what it was, then if thats true, rap will be dead to me. I mean, a monkey throwing poop at a typewriter could have written better lyrics. Its appauling that people go out and buy this song and at the same time leave true rap artisits like the roots, blackstar, and common, people with lyrics and a message, on their shelves at home.

people who are "hating" on these lyrics just haven't analysed them enough.
1) "I'm hot cause I'm fly." 2) "you aint (hot) cause your not (fly)"
3) rearanging statement 1 gives "fly implies hot" 4) rearanging statement 2 gives "not fly implies not hot" 5) statement 4 proves that "hot implies fly" 6) "hot implies fly" and "fly implies hot" means that the two sets are equivalent!
MIMS statements mathematically show that "hot" and "fly" are in fact different words for the exact same thing. there is no difference between the two!
maybe this is his attempt to teach discrete mathematics to his audience which is very philanthropic of him... Then again maybe i've read to much into it and his lyrics ARE actually shallow, poorly thought out dross.
Shakespeare would cry reading this. Michael Crichton would have to do some studies on why these lyrics are so beautiful.
This song while obviously not cryptic by any means it is not just referring to the fact that the artist is himself hot while other's are not. From those initial claims by MIMS we can also infer that he wants us to look at him as an up and coming artist that will soon rival the best (i.e. "Simliar to Lil wizzy cuz I got dat fire...see http://www.vh1.com/artists/news/1547233/20061204/lil_wayne.jhtml Overall the beat is off the hook while the lyrics are a little underwhelming. Looking forward to seeing more MIMS, and this man is definetly looking like one of the frontrunners to bring rap back to what it was.
