Fugitive (Richard X Extended Mix)

I can't believe no one's commented on this yet! There's been a bit of controversy around this song as it's rumoured to be about the Sept 11 terrorist attacks and written from the terrorists' point of view, due to all the plane sounds in the background.

If that's true, I actually think it's a very clever idea. I find it a sad and touching song that, typically of PSB, also really makes you want to dance, although the idea of dancing to it seems a bit weird.

The line I find sad is "I'm really gonna miss you," as it gives the impression that despite the terrible lengths these people are going to to be rewarded in heaven, there's still part of them that doesn't want to do it, because, just like their victims that they don't care about, they're going to lose their lives and miss each other.

It also gives the impression that, despite what they're doing, they aren't entirely sure what will happen, as it says "you're gonna take me with you" as well. I like the fact that this song forces me to empathise with people who do such terrible things.

This song is about a martian brother who miss your brother, I believe that in the past the martians try to find the lost brother. This is the message of the song who composed by the Pet Shop Boys.
