I love how whilst most metalcore bands are obsessed with love and associated issues, God Forbid remain varied in their lyrics, with maybe one song on each album dealing with it.
I think that this song is not just about promises, but trust in general.
Also it's one of the best songs for a circle pit...
Song is pretty much self explanatory. One of the best things about metal is the wide variety of what the song can be about. Know matter what you are going through or have been through, you can relate mostly due to the lyrical style in which it was written. Metal IS and ALWAYS will be beautiful violence. Like it, love it, hate it. You can relate to it no matter who you are.
