Send us to die across the seas
Where it's told we want to deceive
Send us so far from home
Empty hearts want to believe the fight is for humanity
Look at yourself heroic state of existence
Patriot in your mind
Look around you, the world is caving in
Victim of life, the antihero
Torn between right and wrong the antihero
Black white dead all over
When does the war against war begin?

General CommentThis is probably my favoret God Forbid song.
If you don't think God Forbid are a great band, then you are a wrong thinking little freak. Intolerance is fun.

Anyway, I think this song is about conflicts like the Iraq war, where people are coned into supporting it, on the strenght of pure bullshit.

It is kind of a challenge to the soldiers who fight this shit too, asking "Do you actually believe this shit that they tell you? and if not, is it really worth dying for?"

General CommentIntolerance is fun for the ignorrant mass that fuck themselves. It's fun for religious people to be intolerant of everything but their own ideas and selfish agenda so they decide to believe everything but their ideas is bullshit so they can do what the hell ever they want. Tolerance is better than intolerance! Think for yourself!

General CommentAn antihero is not just a 'good' person who chooses to do the wrong thing, it's also someone who simply doesn't do the right thing. Rather than do nothing at all, make the 'good/right' choice! I guess in terms of this song that would mean in particular voting...

General CommentI like this band very much, I've been listening to them for a few years now, I've seen them live, met them, and I've enjoyed every song they have written and played including this one. With that said as a soldier, serving in Iraq as I write this, I have to respectfully disagree with the entire message that the lyrics send. It's one thing to be in the states and see what the news shows you, and it's a terribly different thing to be here and truly witness whats going on.
