i sounds like this song was written about a band who would slate them and then they got further than them or somethign like that.

I think this song is about how people were so fake, and he finally just got out of it and is just saying " watch out, your gonna get the consequences" it's almost like they were friends but they just talked a lot of shit about the guy.
