@Highanxietymind Why? Every live performance I hear of them involves the asshole vocalist hardly doing any vocals, instead letting the stupid audience do 99% of them. What a joke.

I love the reference to the titanic and the men who played as the ship sunk
This song is about a genuine role model..we all know somebody like this, a person who is inexplicably positive and forever trudges forward despite hardships.
The narrator aspires to be like this person, but realizes despite his admiration he's "so very fucking far" from being that person.
It also turns a classic line, "old man take a look at my life", on its head.
This song displays the humility spoken of earlier in About Face.
