All I know is this song is fucking beautiful.
I'll take a shot at it's meaning, however. I guess it's saying, why is it so hard for us to find truth? Then, I guess you could gather that he's saying we cover it up with fear and it takes us a lifetime to uncover that truth - that same truth has already been discovered by children. They get it, but life is dirty and we lose track or cover it up along the way.
And at the end, I think he's just saying, if we slow down and examine it all, we can figure it out.
Language, please O.o. They are a respectable Christian band after all... yes, it is about truth. Trying to find answers to unanswered questions.
