I think this song means that there was a guy who she was with for a while and he slowly molded her into who he needed her to be, cold and heartless. Now he's bored and moved on and left her and shes realizing what happened. And that shes not the person she wanted to be coming out of their relationship. Possibly he blamed it on her and shes saying that it's not her fault he made her this way?

i could be wrong, which i probably am, but to me it feels as if she lost her virginity to a guy, and he took that away from her, and she can't change that.
