Synonym For Acquiesce Lyrics

Empty fields move me
So much more than rooms filled up with friends
(The way the trees look dead)
It reminds me that there's more to life than living
And maybe giving up's not bad
But part of letting go of you.

If i surrender to this feeling
Maybe all the aches and pains will go and i can close my eyes
Never again to have them open
'til i bleed out all I've been
I don't want to be alone no more
No more.

Take this razor sign your name across my wrists
So everyone will know who left me like this.

Empty fields move me
So much more than rooms filled up with friends
(The way the trees look dead)
It reminds me that there's more to life than living
And maybe giving up's not bad
But part of letting go of you.

So take this razor sign your name across my wrists
So everyone will know who left me like this
Sew me up my scars run deep
A reminder not to forget the times that we've had.

Never waste another second
I have wasted so much time
And I have wasted, wasted
So much time
So much time

Take this razor sign your name across my wrists
So everyone will know who left me like this
Sew me up my scars run deep
A reminder not to forget the times that we've had.

I can't believe that NOONE has commented on this song yet...One of my Favorites. Anyway, I think that this song is about someone who has realised that they are wasting their time either in a relationship or thinking about something/someone in the past. They know that they have to move on and forget...But they can't...He has strong feeling that he has been acting against, and now he finally realises that maybe he should just accept it all for what it is.

I think this song has alot of meaning behind it. One of my personal favorites off of that album. Basically, i think this song is about this person who has had enough of the signifacant others bullshit. They've gotten hurt so much already and they feel like it's time to move on. Realizing all the time that was wasted on that person was just not worth it to what it became to be. Now moving on is the only hope but the fact that they've been hurt so much, they have scars that will never go away. And those scars will always represent the times they spent together ("Sow me up my scars run deep, a reminder not to forget the times that we've had")

Also he wants to let the world know WHO has done all this harm to him, which is where this part is drawn from : "Take this razon, sign your name across my wrists, So everyone will know who left me like this."
