hmmm maybe about a girl wanting to be with a guy, but he doesnt want her? "she loves to dream, but dreamers chase and never obtain"..."The more it gets suggested, the more I'm uninterested"...something to do with relationships..?

i thought the last verse was about war before i read the lyrics, i could hear ammunition, weapon, general. and i thought the last lines were 'dont leave me here to die' lolz i guess i was way off base.

great song though.

I'd also have to say it's "just leave me here to die." it's a great song. I'm still trying to break it down and figure out it's true intended meaning. which will most likely take me several more run-throughs. sweet wails.

My interpretation:

This song is about trying to get back into the swing of relationships, but failing due to becoming uninterested or turned off every time you get closer to anyone. And when it comes down to a decision, 'love it or leave it', he ends up 'hating it and leaving it'. He gets close in the second verse, but again fails by the second chorus. He tries anyway again, but pessimistically realizes that he's just going to hurt the person he's with when they feel most vulnerable. He realizes that he's getting older, and by the end of the song has lost hope in ever being right for anyone.
