Aleph, The Lyrics

It's written with your name on it
It's written
It's written with your name on it
It's written
The late love is one we all stand by
Mirror images of lead bullet in your eyes

Reflection in your eyes speaks gentle to me
Our loves eulogy
It was only a game that you wanted to play
I wont be the same

Say goodbye
Say goodbye to all that you hold
I kneel down to kiss you
But you wanted to die in your own arms

Reflection in your eyes speaks gently
Our loves eulogy
It was only a game that you wanted to play
I wont be the same

You were the one to call me hopeless
You were the one to call me dear

Standing side by side lives full of fear
Standing side by side

I think this song is about a relationship gone wrong, one person loves the other person, but they never really liked them and just toyed with them.("It was only a game that you wanted to play") Thoughts of suicide and fear run through one persons mind as shown with "But you wanted to die in your own arms" and "Standing side by side lives full of fear" This person gets fed up with the other, "Say goodbye Say goodbye to all that you hold," but by the end of the song it seems that the person sticks around, "Standing side by side"

This song is defiantly about a relationship; however, the context of that relationship is not clear to me. But, "the game" is Russian Roulette and somebody loses. The bullet is what the person's name is written on, and "Late love" means love that has passed. With these pieces, I think you can create your own story that suits you.

I think that instead of "lead bullet in your eyes" its "hate burning in your eyes"
