OK, Time For Plan B (Re-Recorded)

i love the whole alien themed storyline album thing. awesome. well heres my opinion:

this is from the aliens PoV

this is the aliens sayin right thats it, were comin, if you resist, your gonna get killed.

"Look what you've done to yourself Yeah you've lost the will to do what's right again Look what you've done to yourself We'll fight like sharks, we'll fight like dogs [We were shy...]"

the aliens sayin we brought this upon ourselves, look what weve done, there gonna be as violent as possible. they were shy, stood back, but now thats it.

"We try to communicate We've got no patience Let's reclaim this throne Why should we negotiate Let's finish this now!"

they gave warning, theyre obvs not patient. from past songs (i feel) give the impression that the 'aliens' feel that the worlds not ours so theyre coming to take it back before we destroy it more.

"Look what you've done to yourself... OK, TIME FOR PLAN B."

i think that goes back to the 'we WERE shy' like they held off, destroying/enslaving/whatever us was plan b.

to begin with i think that this song is about how humanities plan has failed, and now it is time for a "plan b".

this is obviously saying that our morality is changing into something bad. We WERE shy, but now that we have understanding we know that nothing can stop you if you believe in it, and youve been thru alot of shit like when V for Vendetta stood up in the fire?

those that understand, are seen as a bit crazy or something on the first part....they have NO patience. Lets take over this world, why should we wait until it decays into what its obviously decaying into....lets do it right now....(wow)

ok so the rest of the song, is mostly self explanatory based on what i have said, the last part where he says everyone freezes e.t.c... that i think just means that everyone is waiting (those in the know) and they know that when this revolution happens it will .....make the earth move, and the ground shake metaphorically.

i like this new version but i do miss the "hunger to discover that you're not here" line.

Aliens have come and are attempting to enslave humanity. They have practically succeeded. Humans are preparing for a final upsurge. Originally, we were hiding. Now, we will fight. Nuclear weapons may be used ("let's make the earth move, let's make the ground shake") as a way of killing off the suppressors. I think the song is being sung through the voice of an army general or something, and is trying to convinve soldiers to fight for the sake of humanity. "We try to communicate We've got no patience Let's reclaim this throne Why should we negotiate Let's finish this now!" - sounds like pre-battle hype-up talk. The bit about "look what yo've done to yourself - you've lost the will to do what's right again", seems to be the general speaking to one soldier, maybe a coward, who is having second thoughts about fighting - "look what you've done to yourself" - you've scared yourself out of it. "I hope for your sake that you're on our side" - If you're not, you're with the invaders. The enemy. I believe this song is sort of switching between shouted rallying by the general trying to amp up the army, and private talks with one soldier worrying about it. Whatever happens after this song is unknown, doesn't sound good though =/ Maybe it's criticising the governments' way of solving things - "let's all fire missiles everywhere that's bound to work" - maybe this is a statement - we will destroy our own planet in trying to defend from an invasion of some kind, if not a physical incasion, then metaphorical one - i.e. anarchy etc.

I agree with D4N7E in a way, but rather instead of aliens, it's our selves. We're all in a nuclear arms race, and in time we're all going to destroy each other.

"And I hope for your sake that your on our side" is probably a reference to thinking that one side can win, when in reality, we're all doomed.

Yet, it could also just be how all we do now is fight in the world. Nothing can be settled reasonably.

It's basically saying "We'll try to talk, but in time it won't work out. We'll get frustrated with eachother and just start a war". Which is true of the situations today. We can't talk to anyone anymore, our world is in a constant state of war.

"Let's make the earth move, let's make the ground shake." I think this basically means "Enough talk, let's just bomb the crap out of eachother and go for an all out attack".

I'm sure it says "We Will Shine" and not "We were shy." Listen to it closey. I'm sure i'm right.
