i read some where this is about gwen's friend that die recently but i cant help but think of john spence when i hear this song! i mean she is singing like that person wanted to leave and mentions what he gave to her ( he was lead singer in no doubt until he died)

I LOVE THIS SONG. I hope Gwen releases a video for it.

To me, this song is just about how we have people that come and go in our lives, in Gwen's case, someone who, I think, died.. Someone that was such an impact on us in any part of our lives, and then suddenly, their not there any more, for whatever reason, and it has kind of shaped us to become what we are today.

I really hope she releases this as a single.

I have a feeling this is about Bradley Nowell, lead singer of Sublime. They were good friends, and she was heart broken when he died. It could also be about John Spence.

I think it's about her brother, that would make sense when she talks about knowing love as a kid.

This IS about her very first boyfriend, and first love. He committed suicide a few years ago. Gwen said at a concert I was at that she had written it and sort of hid it away to keep for herself. During this song, it looked like she was crying and she kept looking up (toward heaven I suppose)

UGH, this is such a good song, but it probably won't be a single...why exactly Gwen used Now That You Got It as the fourth single instead of this, I'm not entirely sure...
