Sweet, wonderful, beautiful song. If I had kids I would play it for them. I love it
I do have kids, and I sing it to my four month old. This song is beautifull, I'm not a very spiritual person but I like to think of it in terms of God singing to us, his children. And one day he will return and dry our eyes and sing this lullaby. It's comforting.
I think of the song the same way. It's like God telling us not to give up hope. This song has moved me to tears sometimes. It makes me think of poor, sick, or dying children in other parts of the world. I imagine Jesus speaking these words to them and telling them that he still cares.
