i think this part is about this girls bf watching her and noticing that she is with a guy friend and he wants to end that because they look like they are getting too close together. thus "until we wind up dead" and the "checking your pulse" means to make sure she stays away from the guy friend and make sure she is not lying about seeing him.

he is talking about how great this girl is. how she is so much better than the guy she is with hense the part to shy to know your worth she keeps getting hurt by this guy hense the "hurt from the insensitive behavior she is scared of how she feels about this guy or guy friend and how her feelings are toward him and where "this might lead us"

the dont let me go part is about her letting him go obviuosly and him opening up to her and she wont accept it

i love this song. dance gavin dance is really good; the lead singer has an amazing voice.

woah! that is such a fucking sweet song. totally agree about the vocalist being amazing. He's out of this world.

Ya know, it doesn't sound like he's say "It grabbed us by the throat, and we continue to breathe." It sounds to me more like "Gripped by the throat, try to breathe." But I dunno...

its about loving someone and then all of a sudden things go to the worst. and you can't really imagine life without this person and you want them back you're remembering all these things about this person & it makes things even worse.

i dont really think this is true, but when you look at all the titles and lyrics of this album, a lot of the stuff matches up in a lot of ways, like there is the story to, like the robot is a character or something
