i'm not sure if this is right, but this is kinda what this song means to me. it almost seems like a song from God to someone who is going through a tough time in their life.

God is just letting this person know that He's ready to comfort this person whenever they're ready to let Him in, and it just signifies that God is always trying to reach out to us, and he doesn't just sit up in heaven watching us. he's always there. idk. that's what the song means to me, and i just love this song! :)
I've listened to this song over and over and over again. The meaning is so obvious, however it is amazing. It's about someone who is going through a hard time in their lives, and he is trying to be there for them. He wants to help so bad, but for some reason, she is pushing away. He is basically saying that anytime she needs him, he is there. The lyrical maturity of this cd surpasses any cd of theirs that i have heard before, and i think that having 2 girls in the band gives different insights into different songs, and presents different ideas in the songwriting process, and the results are amazing. I LOVE this song.
this song is definantly my favorite. it can be taken two ways like most there songs it can either be God talking to us telling us he's there but waiting till we are ready for Him. Or the relationship story thingy.

when i first heard this song i about cried cause it made me think of this girl that i know that was going through so much and we were together but she broke up with me cause of the stuff. and i just wanted to help her so much but i coulden't and it was just killing me to see her hurt like she was. that hurt so much. I love this song. it means so much to me.

I saw skillet this past week with breaking benjamin, seether, and three days grace (best concert ive ever been to btw!) and this was by far my favorite song that they performed. I had heard it before and just fell in love with the powerful yet simple lyrics! keep rockin, great band!
