Unstitch Your Mouth Lyrics
So i said it right
I find your backbone and start a fight
I'll do what I can do
Oh fall in line
Oh I'll decide
Unstitch your mouth
Close your eyes and scream out loud
I'll can do what I can do
Oh fall in line
Oh I'll decide
You gotta kill your doubt
Gotta tear it open and burn it out
I'll can do what I can do
Oh fall in line
Oh I'll decide
Step away from this
You can tolerate, you can resist
I'll can do what I can do
Oh fall in line
Oh I'll decide
Oh fall in line
Oh I'll decide
Oh
I find your backbone and start a fight
I'll do what I can do
Oh fall in line
Oh I'll decide
Close your eyes and scream out loud
I'll can do what I can do
Oh fall in line
Oh I'll decide
Gotta tear it open and burn it out
I'll can do what I can do
Oh fall in line
Oh I'll decide
You can tolerate, you can resist
I'll can do what I can do
Oh fall in line
Oh I'll decide
Oh I'll decide

am i first here??? the first time i heard this i though it was about him telling somebody to give up all of their insecurities and that its ok to be yourself. kida idk.
then again it sounds like he's demanding them to do something.
idk tho.
Fairly good new song. album is very different. i would of put more songs from "Three's" but Jim Wards vocals are hard to decipher. With the actual meaning of the song, i have no idea. maybe it might be speaking up for what you want in the world. Maybe it could be political with asylum seekers sewing their mouths together, though that would be hard to justify.
This song is great, I really like it... it reminds me of incubus' song mexico
On the meaning i really dont know...
I just hope this next album is good becaused I loved wiretap scars but I hated porcelain,
i want to post this for all the NEW Sparta songs on here but i will just post it on this song so i do not sound redundant:
In all I really really miss Sparta's old complex, poetic, intricate, and thought provoking lyrics ex.(Collapse, Air, Guns Of Memorial Park,Now or Never)...the new songs lyrics seem to "babyish" for them, too simplistic and general.
The music however is beyond solid with every song.
Feel free to let me know what you think...
It's clearly an instruction, to not put up with society's rules, to demand freedom, to be what you must... one line, last verse - "If you can tolerate, you can resist"
Stand up for what you believe in and don't conform. FALLOW THROUGH!
Stand up for what you believe in and don't conform. FALLOW THROUGH!
I'm pretty sure it means you shouldn't bottle in your feelings, let them out. Unstitch your mouth.
jweezy1983 seemed closest according to what Jim said at the Oct 3rd show in Austin "This songwas written with a friend of mine, whos here, a guy named Ray Wallace who painted the portraits that are gonna be on our record, hes tattooed me all over, hes an amazing guy, and he was with me one night when somebody decided to just kinda take a shit on us, and talk like all this stupid stupid ignorant bullshit, uhm so this song is just about standing up for yourself" I have a bootleg for this show..
