one of my favorite songs of all time. meshes the more modern sound with the soothing vocals. plus the cool breathing that rabash said. I think he was going out with this girl, but she wanted to break up, so she could go out with an older "more mature" guy. he's sort of telling her that they're too young to think about these things so seriously. just have fun and don't grow up so fast

i fell that it is about a guy that just got dumped by his girlfriend for an older guy... he feels that they are both naive (too young)

I must say i agree with gasolinesunsets. I think it's a tribute to the Phoenix song 'too young'. All the signs are there, just listen to them both

I thought that the chorus had said 'I'd do ya' and the song referenced to having good sex in the morning. Once I read the lyrics, I was disappointed.

instead of "the nights so scared we own it" it sounds like he's saying "the night's a skill, we hone it" as in honing a skill or becoming better at it... Am I the only one who thinks it sounds like that?
