i have no idea what this song means, but it´s so beautiful, one of the best of JF.
if anyone knows it and its meaning, it would be just great
It seems to me it is about dreams that someone else has cleared the way for us to follow, so at night you fall asleep and go on a journey that has been already set out, but I don't really know what the first bit is about? Also where can i find this song?

yea amyhill your absolutely right. u made me realize it.
the first part is actually about how he wants to be in his dream state. and in the light (daytime/when hes awake) hes lost, in the darkness of before (night/when hes sleeping) he knows where he is and sees with every part of him.
so basically its kind of like a "Matrix" type thing where his dream world is actually the reality and where he finds himself to be happy.
anyways his descriptions are amazing: "you're a ghost in life Pushed right out and kept inside of a bodiless weight"
it makes you understand perfectly, its like your trapped in this body, when in the dream world your free
the last part: "When you close your eyes at night Someone clears a path for you to ride
When you wake the next day You will only go that way"
well this means that all the knowledge you gain from your dream, and the goal/objective that your dream gives you, is carried on with you when you wake up
this stuff that he talks about in this song is so true, i mean, i feel like this happens to me often
This was the "extra" track for the Japanese version of Shadows. I personally think it has more of a Will To Death Feel to it. However whenever I hear it, it almost brings me to tears, the sheer emotion, the passion that is portrayed in the song.
