Homage for Satan Lyrics
Bound from the light to the end of eternity
Fighting for rights for the realm of antiquity
All that is evil and right hand of god
Trinity bound and defying his cross
Homage for Satan, cursing dissention, forced isolation
To the lake of fire
Will and free thought you have brought to the edge of eve
Nothing to stop what they thought was the truth to be
God without Satan no one would believe
Homage for Satan, sworn to the devil, Unholy master
Destroy the heavens
Homage for Satan, the invocation, rule the unwanted
Armies of the dead
Skinning the Christians and the lost and not forgave
Punishing priest for the lives that they wouldn't save
Waiting rebirth of the Christ back upon the earth
Given temptation to wipe out the world
Homage for Satan, god can not find you, hell is your heaven
Jesus ripped apart

"God without Satan no one would believe" they mean that religion keep people in constant fear of the evil and abuses them to gain power and keep the people on the floor. kick-ass solos in another great deicide song
also, without Satan..without sin, things probably wouldn't have went the way they did. we'd still be in Eden, chillin, or at least that's the general idea.
Satan worshipers are the biggest hypocrites ever. Satan is a fallen angel, the angel of light..so how do you believe in Satan, but not God? and another thing..if God isn't real, wtf are you wasting your time talking about it? what a fulfilling life!!11ONE
The guitars are supreme in this song. Ralph Santolla and Jack Owen rule!
painted faces frown, I am not a Satanist but apparently not all Satanists actually worship the Devil. Apparently they use the Devil as a symbol for their hatred of religion. I guess you could view it as a kind of rebellion, like praising Satan to piss off religious people. In my opinion it's just an extreme overreaction to religious fundamentalism. It's just that people get pissed off by religious fundamentalists and pretend to worship Satan to piss them off.
Having said that, the guitar solos and the drumming on this song are awesome.

painted faces frown, just because one worships Satan does not mean that one does not believe in God. I think the idea behind many of Deicide's songs is to say, "God is such a bastard, that I'd rather burn for eternity than kneel at his altar." I don't believe in God, but really, I wouldn't worship him even if I did.
Clowns :-))))))) Oh, and it should be Homage TO Satan. But, what do you expect, really?
