To me it seems as though this song is like.. About a guy who met a girl And by meeting her he realized he wasnt really happy and it sounds like he is asking her to save him Saying that he needs her love..

This song is obviously about a sinner who never realized how bad of condition he was in until he met God and realized the taint of sin upon him; the song asks God for strength to make it through to the end and to free himself from his own darkness
