Orange Spider Lyrics
A note we wrote the other day
to any mice who pass this day
on crumbed and sugared counter tops
we must consist your traffic stop
in their defense they don't refuse
nonetheless, we've come to you
snapping traps and poisioned beans
with far less diplomatic means
orange spider, orange leaf
orange spider, orange leaf
orange spider, orange leaf
confirms my deepest held belief
to any mice who pass this day
on crumbed and sugared counter tops
we must consist your traffic stop
nonetheless, we've come to you
snapping traps and poisioned beans
with far less diplomatic means
orange spider, orange leaf
orange spider, orange leaf
confirms my deepest held belief

actually it's 'nonetheless we've come to use / snapping traps and poisoned beans / (far less diplomatic means)'
And it's "We must insist your traffic stop".
The spider songs sort of remind me of some of sufjan stevens stuff. I hope I don't get verbally abused for that comment..

in their defense, they don't refuse but nonetheless we've come to use snapping traps and poison beans (far less diplomatic means)
orange spider, orange leaf, confirms my deepest held belief.
he sounds like he's crying in the recording i have...
with far less diplomatic means
What do you all think the spider and the leaf in these songs represent? And what do the mice in this one represent, and what is symbolized in the "less diplomatic means" of removing them?
yes im with u game. im going to the last to see what the ending is
good song
the spider songs are the most amazing part of the cd, but i dont really understand any symbolic meaning to them.
they ask the mice to stop, and even though they do, they still go to the exterminator,
maybe the mice represent people in this. and although they do as god asks, he still takes them away from us? who knows. i just love how he gets kinda sad when he says he wants the exterminator to kill them
