I'll Be Seeing You Lyrics
I'll be seeing you
In all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
All day through.
In that small cafe;
The park across the way;
The children's carousel;
The chestnut trees;
The wishin' well.
I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day;
In every thing that's light and gay.
I'll always think of you that way.
I'll find you
In the morning sun
And when the night is new.
I'll be looking at the moon,
But I'll be seeing you.
I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day;
In every thing that's light and gay.
I'll always think of you that way.
I'll find you
In the morning sun
And when the night is new.
I'll be looking at the moon,
But I'll be seeing you.
In all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
All day through.
The park across the way;
The children's carousel;
The chestnut trees;
The wishin' well.
In every lovely summer's day;
In every thing that's light and gay.
I'll always think of you that way.
In the morning sun
And when the night is new.
I'll be looking at the moon,
But I'll be seeing you.
In every lovely summer's day;
In every thing that's light and gay.
I'll always think of you that way.
In the morning sun
And when the night is new.
I'll be looking at the moon,
But I'll be seeing you.

So beautiful. About the memory someone's imprinted on her mind, the affect they've had on her...
This is a song about memory. Remember someone in everything long after they have left (died).
this song is so lovely. and the funny thing is, its about something sad - but it makes me feel really happy. i love this song. it reminds me of romance in world war I too.
holiday has an amazing way of sounding so heartbreaking and at the same time.. just.. beautiful.
I first heard this song in The Notebook.
I fell in love with her voice (:
[But I remember when we were studying the Depression, or something, i forget...anyways, my teacher played a song of hers...]
Also, I remember listening to Stormy Weather, when I was watching some sort of documentary on different musical scores..like "Porgy" I think?
i think it's about when you broke up with somebody and some time have already past and you start thinking about this person and remember only the good things. because only the good things are worth remembering.
i love this song. i think she is talking about the war. and how her love is going away or has died ? and how she'll see him soon and is remembering the good times.
Everytime I even think of this song I want to cry. It's very nostalgic of what you once had but can't have anymore, and the sadness of the memories. Heartbreaking. Unbelievable movie, too.
Every time I hear this song, there are only two person I always think of, It's Allie and Noah.
While they were dancing together across the road. That was so romantic. and Jimmy Duarte's version makes me sad, it was played when were already old, and then that tragedy I won;t forget, Noah was crying.
I absolutely love this song. It's beautiful and sad. And it reminds me of The Notebook as well. Even though it is sad, it makes me happy because it reminds me of Allie and Noah and that gives me hope that things will always work out. I love this.
