Computer Camp Love Lyrics

I ran into her on computer camp
(Was that in '84?)
Not sure
I had my Commodore 64
Had to score
(Not with a dirty tramp)
She’s not a tramp
Her name is Judy
(That’s a nice name)
Yeah, she’s a nice girl
(Big deal. Did you get in her pants?)
She’s not that kind of a girl, booger
(Why, does she have a penis?)
Seen as supremus
You better know she’s a genus and a Venus
(Tell me more; was it love at first sight)
That’s right; this was god-given grace with a face you could praise
(Tell me more; did you put up a fight?)
I don’t think so, but before we tour the chorus stall let’s all explore a more a
(Computer cabin war)
That right
I said before we explore the amore on my story do a dora
(Computer cabin war)
Seen as supremus
You better know she’s a genus and a Venus
(Tell me more; was it love at first sight?)
That’s right, this was god-given grace with a face you could praise
(Tell me more; did you put up a fight?)

I ran into her on computer camp
(Computer cabin war)
Hard core
It started like a boar ending up on the floor
(Come on now, tell me more)
Seen as supremus
You better know she’s a genus and a Venus
(Tell me more; was it love at first sight?)
That’s right, this was god-given grace with a face you could praise
(Tell me more; did you put up a fight?)

Also takes the start of the lyrics from the film Revenge of the Nerds, thus the strange booger line.

I think it's: "Was that in '84? Not sure." Not "Was 1984. Not sure."

It makes more sense and sounds right to me. Also, the line "She's a genus and a Venus" doesn't make sense as written. How can one be a "genus", yet all lyric sites seem to show it like that. When I heard it, I thought it was: "She's a genus à la Venus" which makes a lot more sense. He's saying she's the same type of girl as Venus/Aphrodite, one of the most beautiful women in Greek Mythology.

My Opinion

Yeah, "She's a genus a la Venus" would make sense. But I always thought the lyrics was "She's a genus out of Venus", which also makes sense.

The lyrics on their official video (http://youtu.be/140ea47ndME) are the corrects one!

They do indeed say "was that in '84?" And the other part is "genius out of Venus," so FROM the planet Venus, meaning she's a woman, I guess (with the whole "men are from Mars, women are from Venus" cliche).

Actually, I think I was thinking of a different interpretation of the lyrics I had looked at re: the "genius out of Venus" line. I know I've seen lyrics that interpreted it that way. I've submitted an updated set of lyrics based on the lyrics included with the video. And honestly, although "genius" makes more sense, the lyrics DO sound like they say "genus and a Venus." Oh well. No one ever said it had to make sense.
