To me this song is about not being able to move one from someone. Its about wanting to move on, but not being able to. "Color me blue I'm lost in you Don't know why I'm still waiting Many moons have come and gone Don't know why I'm still searching" You dont know why you're still waiting, but you cant move on.

This song is from a movie called Cover about a woman who discovers that her husband is on the Down Low. This movie is so shocking that when it ended I sat there watching the credits unable to move because I could not beleive what I had just seen. And to realize that this is the story of women today brought me tears. As I listened to this song I fell in love with the meaning of it and was able to apply it to a relationship that I just ended.

What she's saying is that this man was the love of her life the person she thuoght was her soul mate. But later finds out that he's not. And even though she may have known she was still waiting for him hoping that things woudl work out. The bottom line is that they didn't and once she was willign to accept that they were not meant to be she was able to be okay with it. The acceptance of that has freed her heart even though she still may not understand acceptance means freedom.

this song is insanely beautifull. and i think your on the right track kay20, i think she loves this guy but thought that she meant more to him than she actually did and is realizing that love makes people blind but part of her still cant let him go.

i discovered this song the night i broke up with my boyfriend, and its exactly how im feeling. i love him so much, but at the same time just want to let him go. its the worst thing to feel.

i think she is saying goodbye to someone who just died. She is saying that they never got round to acutally saying 'i love you,' and she thought that he loved her, but now that he's gone she won't ever know. But i think she is saying that its got to a point that she is finally saying goodbye, knowing that this was destiny, something to make her stronger, having such strong love and then being able to say goodbye to it.
